REFERRAL INFORMATION
Hobsonville Ultrasound works closely with GPs, specialists, and allied health professionals across Auckland. We are committed to providing timely, high-quality imaging with prompt reporting to support your clinical decision-making.
We accept referrals from all registered medical practitioners. Patients can be referred using the standard referral form or by phone. Our team will contact the patient to arrange a convenient appointment time.
Reports are delivered electronically to referring practitioners and are typically available within 24–48 hours of the scan. Urgent reports can be communicated by phone.
PACS / IMAGE ACCESS
Referring practitioners can access patient images and reports securely through our PACS portal. If you require access credentials or have not yet registered, please contact our reception team.
HOW TO REFER
Step 1
Complete a referral form (paper or electronic) detailing the clinical indication and examination required.
Step 2
Give the referral to your patient or send it directly to us via email or fax. We'll handle the rest.
Step 3
We will contact the patient and arrange a suitable appointment time, confirming preparation instructions.
Step 4
Receive the report electronically within 24–48 hours. Urgent findings are communicated immediately.
